Geo Norway has supported ARC Architects with a geotechnical assessment as part of the detailed zoning process for Haakon VIIs gate 8–12 in Trondheim. The redevelopment plan involves reducing commercial space and introducing residential units. One to two floors of the existing structure are set to be demolished, with reuse of existing floors and load-bearing systems where feasible. The project also includes the construction of new buildings, both with and without basements.
