Geo Norway supplies a range of services related to the geotechnical design of offshore structures used for renewable energy, aquaculture and oil and gas. Our employees have extensive experience with foundation design of gravity base structures (GBS), jackets, jack-ups, monopiles, subsea structures and pipelines. We also have extensive experience with the dimensioning of anchor systems and gravel fills.

Geo Norway supports all project phases, including early phase evaluations, FEED, detailed design and installation. We offer "client-rep" services and assist with follow-up of offshore soil investigations and installation of offshore structures/anchors.

Examples of geotechnical tasks:
-
Planning and follow-up of soil investigations.
-
Interpretation of soil investigation data and laboratory test data. Establish of geotechnical design profiles
-
On-board vessel client representative services (soil investigations and installation)
-
Geotechnical design:
-
Suction anchors, driven piles (monopiles, jacket piles) and drilled piles/conductor
-
Shallow foundation (GBS, mudmat, etc.)
-
Anchor systems (suction anchors, gravity anchors, drag anchors, plate anchors and torpedo anchors)
-
Pipelines
-
Rock fills
-
Harbour facilities
-
-
Geotechnical "site assessment" for jack-ups
Examples of geotechnical analyzes we carry out:
-
Installation analysis (landing, penetration, suction pressure, ramming etc.)
-
Stability analyzes (fills, slope stability, etc.)
-
Capacity analyzes (carrying capacity, holding power, etc.)
-
Settlement analyses
-
Evaluation of cyclical effects
-
Scour/erosion
-
Soil-structure interaction analyses
-
Numerical modeling (2D and 3D)
